June 2008, POE successfully completed the submarine pipeline part of Sonils oil terminal project of Angola.

This project includes four Φ219 pipelines separately for gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and backup, one Φ168 pipeline for fresh water, one Φ63 backup water pipeline and one Φ114 compound communication and power cable. The pipelines were bounded in a bundle to connect the quay and platform. Each pipeline is 600m long and water depth is 13m. Pipelines were laid with surface tow method. POE is responsible for Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation of pipeline part, including pigging and hydrotest.
